Sr MTS - Field Application Engineer (FAE)

Description
Ability to apply product engineering knowledge and company objectives to support and promote our latest ethernet products in Taiwan. Must fully understand the technical aspects of all Vitesse products and have the ability to present and convey the technical merits to the customer. Responsibilities include understanding our customer's technical needs and challenges and developing solutions based on our products to create winning systems for our customers. Also responsible for serving as technical support to India, South East Asia and other global locations.
Requirements include 7+ years of technical support experience. An advanced understanding of Ethernet switch/router design. Preferred exposure to multinational corporations (MNC) and/ or semiconductor industries. Experience designing or working with optical module companies is preferred.
Must be able to work in a challenging and engaging work environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, accountability and professional development. Must possess excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent field required. Master’s degree preferred.
